Grief and loss is an inevitable part of our lives. Children, especially, can have difficulty understanding and dealing with the grieving process. Through these sensitive and inspirational stories, children learn how to cope with many different kinds of loss.
This kit includes a Leader’s Guide and 10 individual children’s storybooklets, with heart-felt stories that address many different types of grief and loss that children experience. Each storybooklet covers one of the following topics: moving, adoption, home fire, new baby, divorce, dealing with bullies, foster care, death of a pet, death of a friend, and death of a parent.
The Leader’s Guide provides useful hints and suggestions, as well as discussion questions, interactive activities, and follow-up tips for parents.
